Privacy Policy

Overview

Meadow is designed from the ground up to protect your privacy. Your health data — including dose logs, weight entries, injection site history, and medication schedules — is stored locally on your device and synchronized via your personal iCloud account. We do not operate servers that store your health information, and we cannot access your data.

Information We Do Not Collect

Meadow does not collect, transmit, or store any personal health information on our servers. We do not create user accounts, require email registration, or operate any backend infrastructure that holds your data. Dose records, body weight entries, medication configurations, and any other health-related data you enter into the app exist solely within your device's local storage and, if enabled, your personal iCloud container.

We do not sell, share, or monetize your health data in any form.

iCloud Sync

If you have iCloud enabled, your Meadow data may be synchronized across your Apple devices using Apple's CloudKit framework. This data resides in your personal iCloud account and is subject to Apple's privacy policy. Meadow cannot read, access, or retrieve your iCloud data. Synchronization is entirely under your control via your device's iCloud settings.

App Analytics

Meadow may collect anonymized, aggregated usage analytics through Apple's App Store analytics infrastructure. This information does not include any health data, personally identifiable information, or device identifiers that could be linked back to you. Analytics are used solely to understand general patterns of app usage and to improve the product.

HealthKit

If you grant Meadow permission to read from or write to Apple HealthKit, the app may read or write specific health data types (such as body weight) to your Health app. This data flows directly between Meadow and HealthKit on your device. Meadow does not transmit HealthKit data to any external server. You can revoke HealthKit permissions at any time in the Health app under Sources.

Subscriptions

Meadow offers optional in-app subscriptions managed through Apple's App Store. Purchase and payment information is handled entirely by Apple. Meadow receives only a confirmation of subscription status; we never see your payment details or Apple ID credentials.

Children's Privacy

Meadow is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us at the address below and we will take steps to delete that information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Meadow after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
